This project presents the development of a visual identity for Estúdio Vii – a design studio idealized by the authors.
The name Vii comes from seven (7) in Roman numerals (VII). This number represents the year of 2007, when together, the authors began their academic journey. However, in any way the word Vii should be read or interpreted as “seven”, but as “vee”. The number seven was just a reference to choose the studio’s name.

My goal was to create a more neutral image, not only the product itself, but also because of the age at which it is intended. For that I kept only two colors, black and white. To distinguish the different regions and the type of wine, I drew different lettering to create a coherent language, where the bottles may be distinguished from each other, by giving more emphasis to the general language of the product (each bottle has its own identity) than to the brand in question.

The NYC Spaghetti started as a university project where I had to repackage a diffcult item.
My choice was spaghetti and it became the focal point of the packaging. On the underside of the box is a model of the Chrysler building that when pushed into the spaghetti creates a skyscraper impression on top. Fortunately this project has been well received winning 2nd place in the Dieline awards and commended at the D&AD Student Awards 2010.

The mere presence of these items can prevent a person from moving on because of their emotional significance, or even worse, explaining their origin might threaten the harmony of a new relationship.
