YCN Student Award brief to create a promotional campaign for Fedrigoni Paper’s new “Imaginative Colours” paper selection tool.

My concept centers around the idea of an escape from everyday life. When we imagine our minds leave where we are; our offices, our streets, our towns, and enter another world.

This mail out book offers a brief escape from an everyday fast-paced environment. What appears at first to be a row of houses becomes an invitation into an imaginative world.

My personal student portfolio straight out of college. I chose to craft an accordion-fold book made from one continuos sheet to create an elegant, seamless, and professional-looking object that stood out from the crowd, yet not overwhelming the content. The book can be unfolded as long as desired, allowing the viewer to see the body of work in a different perspective.

This a project I created and submitted for the 2011 ISTD brief ‘Not Just Fleurons.’ The project passed this assessment. The brief was to take the idea of a garden in the broadest possible way and create a typographic outcome that celebrates the garden and it’s role in our lives.

I chose to create my project based on the High Line – A public park in New York that has been made on top of a converted aerial railway.
