Minimal usage of cardboard, this wine glass packaging comes in pairs; however, if one must only purchase one due to a mishap, one can perforate the middle and take a single wine glass home.
My name is Jung Yeun, but I just go by Jung (J is not silent and rhymes with sung). I graduated with a BFA in Communication Design and a minor in History of Arts from Carnegie Mellon University School of Design in May 2009, receiving University Honors and College Honors. I’m very energetic, dedicated to my work and easy going.
I mainly grew up in Oakbrook Terrace, IL, Seoul, Korea, and Demarest, NJ but when I was in highschool, my parents lived in Mexico and Russia for a short period of time. When I’m not designing, I’m either cooking, drawing, or taking photographs. I now look forward to the challenges that lie ahead in the professional design industry. I am currently working at a brand engagement agency in NYC.

I really like how the design of the packaging is very unique. The product is the wine glass which doesn’t have any specific design on it and I think the package really made it stand out well. For such a simple material, the idea of the “summer spider” with the tangled spider web-like vines climbing up the wall seems great! It’s really nice that the product it self stands out even by the packaging style.
